Residential Project in San Antonio, Texas

This project was completed in the Hollywood Park area of San Antonio, Texas. The homeowner was not happy with their old roof, mainly because of the oil canning that was occurring on the metal, and the leakage that was caused by poor craftsmanship. Oil canning is a visual phenomenon that makes metal panels look wavy or somewhat distorted, especially in the broad, flat areas of a metal roof or wall system. Oil canning can occur with any type of metal material used in construction but is usually associated with cold-rolled metal. The homeowner was very unhappy with how long it took the workers from the old roof installation team to complete their job and overall was not impressed with the low-quality work done and how their team installed the old roof.

Once on the job, the Finished Work Roofing team removed the old, damaged roof, and installed a custom-fit roof in a medium bronze color. The team worked efficiently and turned the project around in about a week. Now, the customer no longer has issues with oil canning, and they were very impressed with our quality of work. We are very happy to say there are no more waves or leaks with the client’s new roof.
