Residential Project in San Antonio, Texas

In San Antonio, Texas, we were given the opportunity to complete this unique residential project. The homeowner had interviewed six different companies, as they wanted the best of the best for their home. They chose Finished Work Roofing and Custom Metals to install their new roof because our pitch showed our expertise, attention to detail, and skill. Once we began in May of 2018, Finished Work Roofing began installing the custom roof on the home.

We decided to place an ice and water shield under the roof to protect the home from any severe weather, which is very likely to occur in the Texas Hill Country region. This technique is done with a rubber membrane, as opposed to installing plain decking with a thin synthetic layer underneath the metal roofing panels. Being protected from extreme weather was one of the client’s main concerns, as their previous roofs had been damaged due to hail. Another request from the client was to have the panels be 20 inches in length, simply because of their style preference. When we completed this project, the client was very happy they chose us to take on this project. They are now properly protected from extreme weather and enjoy the beautiful appearance of their home.
