Residential Project in San Antonio, Texas

About This Project

Date: Summer 2015
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Project Type: Residential

Finished Work Roofing was contacted by another company because of this project’s scale of specialty high-quality custom metalwork needs. The Finished Work Roofing Team and the Roofing team were hired by the homeowner because of our approach to how we would handle the pitch change in the roof. The necessary curving in the metal material can cause great issues when installed incorrectly. A curve in the metal roofing material needs to be installed with the proper underlayment such as a high-temperature, ice, and water shield, as well as a synthetic underlayment. This is done to protect the home from damage caused by harsh weather conditions.

The Finished Work team purchased the right materials for the job and started the custom work for the homeowner right away. Most roofing companies would have used two separate panels for this job, but we chose to do one solid metal panel. This was to make the roof look very stylish and classy while also maintaining a high standard of durability against all the natural elements. The homeowner was very happy with the unique angles we were able to pull off with our custom fitting.
